i've been back for about 36 hours now. lovin' the jet lag. who else is up at 4am? wanna play?

not really sure what to say. i know i'm going to experience some reverse culture shock; it is like arriving from a different world. i guess in a lot of ways i have. so far the thing i've noticed the most is the driving. people stop when i want to cross the road, obey traffic rules and there is definite law and order. snooze - how boring! actually i enjoy the safety of crossing the street. and walking after sunset! excellent.

everyone is so friendly too. chit chat with strangers, hellos to people on the street - i love it. i actually feel swaziland was friendly too however i wasn't able to chit chat in siSwati.

i have one month of volunteer work here at the YWCA before looking for a job. guess i'll end the blog at that time. i'm looking forward to reflecting on my time in africa and how adjustment to canadian living (and winter - shit it's cold) goes.

ps. my luggage is missing in action. great.
